Lets go for a walk

The rain came last night!

slinkee minx - summer rain
Whispering our goodbyes, waiting for a train
I was dancing with my baby in the summer rain
I can hear him saying nothing will change
Come dance with me baby in the summer rain
I remember the rain on our skin
And his kisses hotter than the Santa Ana winds
Whispering our goodbyes, waiting for a train
I was dancing with my baby in the summer rain
.
I remember laughing till we almost cried
There at the station that night
I remember looking in his eyes
.
[CHORUS]
Oh my love it's you that I dream of
Oh my love, since that day
Somewhere in my heart I'm always dancing with you in the summer rain
Doesn't matter what I do now
Doesn't matter what I say
Somewhere in my heart I'm always dancing with you in the summer rain
.
I can hear the whistle, military train
I was dancing with my baby, in the summer rain
I can hear him saying Ooh love is strange
Come dance with me baby, in the summer rain
I remember the rain pouring down
And we poured our hearts out as the train pulled out
I can see my baby waving from the train
It was the last time that I saw him in the summer rain
.
[CHORUS]
.
Every time I see the lightening
Every time I hear the thunder
Every time I close the window
When this happens in summer
Oh the night is so inviting
I can feel that you are so close
I can feel you when the wind blows
Blows right through my heart
.
[CHORUS]
..
[CHORUS]
On a side note the Alex K remix is better than the orig. Little faster for some good dancing.

Death

You ever think about your own death? When was the first time you realized that you were going to die. I mean truly realized that no matter what you did death will come for you some day? Me, I was about 23 and was coming down off some good mushies. An TV ad was on about Ensure and the slogan was we cant add years to your life but can add life to your years. I turned to my friend and said what a stupid commercial. He looks at me and says "why old people know they are going to die. We are all going to die some time." At that moment I truly knew that someday I will be no more, gone. Kinda mind blowing at the time, heck still is when you really think about it. You will be no more, gone. Great men, small men at the end it doesn't make a difference.

kickin da bucket

SEOUL (Reuters) - A South Korean man who played computer games for 50 hours almost non-stop died of heart failure minutes after finishing his mammoth session in an Internet cafe, authorities said Tuesday.

The 28-year-old man, identified only by his family name Lee, had been playing on-line battle simulation games at the cybercafe in the southeastern city of Taegu, police said.

Lee had planted himself in front of a computer monitor to play on-line games on Aug. 3. He only left the spot over the next three days to go to the toilet and take brief naps on a makeshift bed, they said.

"We presume the cause of death was heart failure stemming from exhaustion," a Taegu provincial police official said by telephone.

Lee had recently quit his job to spend more time playing games, the daily JoongAng Ilbo reported after interviewing former work colleagues and staff at the Internet cafe.

After he failed to return home, Lee's mother asked his former colleagues to find him. When they reached the cafe, Lee said he would finish the game and then go home, the paper reported.
He died a few minutes later, it said. South Korea one of the most wired countries in the world, has a large and highly developed game industry.

Bad dream

I awoke this morning rather unplesently. I seemed to be having a rater vivid nightmare. All I could remember was that I was stuck in a house where people were being killed and tortured. I was terrified by hearing all the screaming and suffering around me. Then I awoke, phew it just was a bad dream, and all the screams were coming form outside from the people playing on my lake! The nerve of some people. I do think what else had contributed to my dream is that fact that I have been playing Resident Evil 4 on the GameCube for several days nonstop. Its a rental and has to go back in 5 days. I guess being subjected to violent imagery all day for several days really started to seep into my little mind.

Camel Joe

I was thinking of old mascots of my youth. Only one really comes to mind that I just miss seeing. And that is Camel Joe! He was kewl man I wanted to party with him and chill in the VIP room that he always got into. But alas he was put down and road off in the sunset.

Facts about Joe:

Joe Camel's USA Debut. A North Carolina advertising agency uses Joe Camel to celebrate "Old Joe's" 75th anniversary. Four years later, the Journal of the American Medical Association publishes two reports on Joe Camel and kids. One study finds that 91% of 6 year olds recognize Joe Camel, similar to the percent who recognize Mickey Mouse. The other study finds that since the inception of the Joe Camel campaign in 1987, Camel's share of the under-18 (illegal) market has risen from 0.5% to 32.8%, worth >$400 million per year.
